I think the orange pretty much sums up this ludicrous gag in the final panel. The knife-in-the-eye gag I didn't use: the orange becomes concerned about the apple's predicament; the apple is touched; it turns out the orange is more interested in using the knife for culinary purposes. I could have done the strip but by that time it was probably overkill.
