Aah, this is where it all started. I got my inspiration for this strip from the classic joke about the apple and the orange inside the microwave. You may have heard it before; if you haven't, it has essentially the same punchline as this strip. You can see here how ugly my initial attempts at conveying movement and facial expressions were; otherwise the orange's expression in the last panel is priceless :)
